Magamba nature forest reserve and Irente view point

In your day, you can do combined tours of these places, Magamba nature reserve and Irente view point, Magamba nature forest with Village herbalist visits, Magamba nature forest reserve with Mkuzu waterfalls.

Other places like Kisasa waterfalls, Lushoto local market visits, ndekai view points and yoghoi view points are also easily accessible from this point . its also ideal place to start three days hike to Mtae. On site activities

As a cultural tourism homestay, we have varieties of activities that can be done onsite. This gives a wide chance for the guests who have overlay days and would like to spend their time just at the eco farm. These farm activities include kitchen program, traditional dances, coffee making and processing, farming with locals as well as other activities aiming at developing the farm. With Kitchen program, guests will be working with locals going to the farm or to the market for picking up cooking ingredients and involving direct on cooking traditional meals for either lunch or dinner.

Village tour with Herbalist Experience.

Usambara mountains is endowed with about three main ethnic groups. These groups include Shambaa people, Mbugu and Pare. The people in the mountains have different traditions and customs different from Christianity and Islam which is the main believes for many. On solving various problems like healthy issues, family conflicts, love issues, economic problems and disasters, there is a group of people who are termed as traditional healers to solve them. On yourvillage tour, you will be able to visit a traditional healer where you will experience such traditions and values.

Village tour with Local beer experience.

This kind of tour will give you a chance to visit the village and learn about local life, history of the mountains, visiting the royal village of kwembago where the chief of shambaa people lived before German and British intervention, visiting the German house and know its history. Also you will visit kwembago or kwesimu primary school so as to know a bit about the education system of the country. After this experience, you will visit the place where local beer known as BOHA is produced. This beer is made of sugarcane and other ingredients.
